Bloomington ISD call for applicants for a District Managed New School

The Bloomington Independent School District is pleased to launch a call for applicants for a district managed new school in the 2020-2021 school year.
The Bloomington ISD Board of Educators seeks an entrepreneurial leader to serve students in 9th - 12th grades. Candidates must possess a deep understanding of the strengths and challenges inherent to a rural community and are able to share evidence of success serving a similar student population. Applicants shall present a rigorous, quality instructional design that reflects the needs of the school’s target population and will ensure all students meet or exceed the expectations of Texas state standards. Applicants shall improve student learning and encourage different and innovative learning methods as needed for students.
Applicants must follow the application process established by the district which include:

Intent to apply and applications will be submitted to Superintendent Mark Anglin, at email@example.com.
Please note that a mandatory notice of intent to apply must be submitted by 5PM CST on Friday, January 17, 2020. Applicants that do not submit a notice of intent to apply will not be permitted to submit an application. Applications will be due to the district by 5PM CST Friday, January 31, 2020. Applications will be reviewed February 3rd through 7th and finalists will be notified, contacted for interviews the week of February 10th, and a decision will be made by 5PM CST on Friday, February 14, 2020.
