Returning Student Registration

As you complete online registration, you will notice that on some forms information for all 4 of our campuses is given.  This is done so that registration can begin before our system rolls over to the next school year.  Having all forms in one place allows students to fill out the information they need even if they are moving to a new campus next school year.  For example, a student who was a fifth grader on the Bloomington Elementary campus during the 2021-2022 school year can be registered now because that student’s parent has access to forms needed for sixth graders on the Bloomington Middle School campus for the 2022-2023 school year.

If our system has not rolled over to the 2022-2023 school year, it may still show your student in the grade level they were in during the 2021-2022 school year.  Please fill out the forms for the grade level/campus your student will be entering for the 2022-2023 school year.  If you are unsure if your student has been promoted to the next grade level, see the information below.

For elementary and middle school students promotion to the next grade level is based on attendance, grades, reading level, and STAAR scores.  If you have any question about whether your child is being promoted, you can call the front office of your child’s campus to speak with a counselor or principal.

  • Placedo Elementary - 361-333-8000

  • Bloomington Elementary - 361-333-8003

  • Bloomington Middle School - 361-333-8008

For high school students promotion to the next grade level is based on the number of credits a student has earned.

  • 0 - 5 Credits — Freshman

  • 6 - 12 Credits — Sophomore

  • 13 - 17 Credits – Juniors

  • 18+ Credits — Senior

  • *A minimum of 22 credits are required for graduation.
