What is C.C.A?

Crossroads Connect Academy is a school of choice or alternative education program for students between the ages of 16 and 21 who are at high risk of dropping out due to credit deficiency or who want to graduate at an accelerated pace. Students attending C.C.A. work with a certified teacher to complete courses in the self-paced Edgenuity online program which contains curriculum aligned with the state standards. Student can choose to complete some classes on the high school campus as well.

Where is C.C.A. located?

C.C.A. is located in a small building to the left of the front of the Bloomington High School Campus.

How do I know if I am a candidate for C.C.A.?

  • Am I between the ages of 16 and 21?

  • Am I behind in credits based on my age?

  • Am I considering dropping out?

  • I have already dropped out of school?

  • I do not like the pace of regular high school classes.

  • Distractions and a lack of focus cause me to not receive credit for high school classes.

  • Life issues (being pregnant, caring for a child, financial hardship that requires steady employment keep me from receiving credit for high school courses.

  • I need to graduate quickly because of a job and/or to go to college or vocational school.
