For Valentine's Day our BMS & BHS Student Council members took a step outside the classroom and straight into the hearts of the community at the Bethany Senior-Living in Port Lavaca. 
Armed with nothing but their boundless energy and contagious smiles, these young leaders spent the day spreading joy, sharing stories, and learning invaluable lessons from the treasure trove of experiences our elders possess. Every moment was a beautiful exchange of laughter, wisdom, and mutual respect.
It wasn't just a visit; it was a bridge between generations, proving once again that kindness and love know no age. Our students showcased the true spirit of service and empathy, embodying the values we hold dear at BISD.
To our students: You've made us proud beyond words. Thank you for representing the best of us and for reminding us that community service not only changes lives but enriches our own.
To the residents and staff at Bethany Senior Living: Thank you for welcoming us with open arms and for sharing your wisdom and stories. You've touched our hearts deeply.
