Bloomington Jr. High School Turnaround Plan
Stakeholders of the Bloomington ISD are encouraged to provide feedback for the Bloomington Jr. High School Turnaround Plan.
Bloomington Junior High received a first unacceptable rating in SY 2022-2023 and a second consecutive unacceptable rating in SY 2023-2024 and is therefore ordered to develop and submit a turnaround plan for this campus by November 21, 2025.
Additionally, per TEC §39A.106, a campus turnaround plan must take effect no later than the school year following the third consecutive unacceptable rating. Because this campus also earned a D rating in SY 2024-25, the campus must begin implementing the turnaround plan as soon as it is approved.
A stakeholder meeting was held on Oct. 1, 2025. The Campus Improvement Team is seeking additional input on this plan.
