To prioritize the safety of our students and staff, Bloomington ISD will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to winter weather conditions.
The district will continue to monitor conditions and share updates with families and staff through our normal communication channels, including the district website and official social media platforms.
We encourage our community to continue following guidance from local emergency management officials and the National Weather Service.

Due to the delayed start on Monday, January 26, there will be no 7:00 AM morning weight workouts for high school boys athletics. High school boys athletes should report to school by 10:00 AM.

We are aware of the hard freeze forecasted for this coming weekend and are actively monitoring weather conditions and their potential impact on our district. Please stay tuned to district communications, as we will continue to send updates and alerts as needed through our normal communication channels.
As temperatures drop, I encourage everyone to take precautions and keep the 4 P’s in mind:
People: Check on children, elderly family members, neighbors, and anyone who may need assistance.
Pipes: Take steps to protect exposed pipes from freezing.
Pets: Bring pets indoors or ensure they have adequate shelter and warmth.
Plants: Cover or bring in sensitive plants to prevent damage.
