Life Skills took advantage of a beautiful day at The Texas Zoo hosted by Region 3. Students had fun discovering and trying new things!
Bloomington Elementary proudly presents the Employee of the Month for March 2024. Ms. Davis is an outstanding member of our 5th Grade team and well loved by the staff and students. This week's Student of the Week for Bloomington Elementary is Daniel Pineda! He was nominated by Mrs. Ureste who says, " Daniel has been steadily focused on his work during class time. I even found him completing work during inside recess without being asked. Daniel always volunteers to help with classroom jobs; he is proud to help a classmate with their work, and he’s generously shared supplies with others so they could complete their work in class. "🌟 Congratulations Daniel!! 🌟
Our Life Skills kiddos enjoyed exploring how crystals can form inside rocks! Cool finds!
This morning 5 middle school art students competed in the Junior Visual Arts Scholastic Event (JR VASE) . ALL 5 of our students received a score of a 4 and were awarded medals!!! Congratulations to them!!! Once an artwork receives a score of 4, it has a chance to win a platinum award. Only 6 students were chosen for this award. Congratulations to Amelia Rosales who received her platinum medal for her artwork titled "Genesis"! Way to go amazing artists!
Bloomington Elementary students and staff enjoyed a special Saturday Academy event today. They did lots of research, problem solving and even some egg hunting. It was a fantastic day for everyone.

Reminder, all seniors must complete the FAFSA, TASFA, or complete an Opt-out form before graduation.
Please join Bloomington Elementary in congratulating the March 2024 Student of the Month Raven Danas. She is an outstanding student and gives 100% effort in everything she does. She even goes out of her way to help the campus nurse fill up her ice chest every morning.
