We are looking for someone who is interested in serving on the BISD School Board.
There are many things that you'll want to know when deciding to be on your local school board. What are the qualifications to be on the Board?
You must be a US Citizen, 18 years old , a resident and registered voter of the school district for at least 6 months and register voter in the state of Texas for a year. You can't be convicted of a felon.


This week's Student of the Week for Bloomington Elementary is Mario Garcia! He was nominated by Mrs. Marlyn Salinas who says, "Since the beginning of the year, Mario has shown remarkable improvement in his work. Through consistent effort, he has developed a deeper understanding of the material. His commitment to his studies is evident as he works diligently every day, focusing on mastering the concept at hand. What's even more impressive is his growing willingness to support his peers; he has begun helping others who are struggling, offering guidance and encouragement. This newfound leadership not only demonstrates his academic growth but also his willingness to contribute to the success of the entire class.”

Congratulations to the following BHS art students who entered their work into the San Antonio Livestock Art Contest: Teodoro Baladez, Nicholas Tijerina, Jaylyn Vasquez, America Garza, Richard Delgado, Melissa Solano, Raelyn Gamez, and (not pictured) Isaiah Reyna. The following students received a third place ribbon: Jayce Banks, Adrianna Reyes, Aleenah Solis, Rehan Rubio, Ray Garza and (not pictured) Jordyn Brown. One student received a second place ribbon and that was Yeshaiah Hersh. Congratulations to all these amazing art students!!!
