This week's Student of the Week for Bloomington Elementary is Daniel Pineda! He was nominated by Mrs. Ureste who says, " Daniel has been steadily focused on his work during class time. I even found him completing work during inside recess without being asked. Daniel always volunteers to help with classroom jobs; he is proud to help a classmate with their work, and he’s generously shared supplies with others so they could complete their work in class. This morning 5 middle school art students competed in the Junior Visual Arts Scholastic Event (JR VASE) . ALL 5 of our students received a score of a 4 and were awarded medals!!! Congratulations to them!!! Once an artwork receives a score of 4, it has a chance to win a platinum award. Only 6 students were chosen for this award. Congratulations to Amelia Rosales who received her platinum medal for her artwork titled "Genesis"! Way to go amazing artists!
Bloomington Elementary students and staff enjoyed a special Saturday Academy event today. They did lots of research, problem solving and even some egg hunting. It was a fantastic day for everyone.

Transportation Alert: Due to the TXDOT bridge closure on FM 1686, adjustments have been made to Bus Route #7. For AM bus riders, please be at bus stops 15 minutes earlier than usual. The PM bus route will be delayed. The adjustments will start on the morning of Wednesday, March 20,2024 and run until further notice. Thank you for your patience.
Welcome back from Spring Break and the start of the fourth and FINAL nine weeks of the school year. All teacher grades are due Wednesday for the 3rd nine weeks and grades will be finalized by Friday. We have FOUR WEEKS left until our first STAAR/EOC test!
