Please join Bloomington Elementary in congratulating Josiah Amaro our 2024 Spelling Bee Champion along with the runner up, Jeremiah Reyes. It was a battle through several rounds and all contestants gave it 100% effort. We are very, very proud of all contestants who worked hard to make the event possible.

Results for the Cypress Ridge Welding Contest are in!
Of 354 welding students Isaias Perez received 2nd place level 4 ASME 9 5g Pipe Weld. Juan Carlos Perez placed in the top 10 Level 3, AWS GMAW 3g Groove weld
Both students received Weld Certifications. Iasis received $5000.00 in scholarships to Arclabs and Tulsa welding school! Way to go guys!!!!

Dear BISD Families, Staff, and Community Members,
I hope this message finds you cozy and safe. As we gear up for some challenging weather, our main concern is your safety and well-being. Due to the expected extreme weather, we've decided to cancel school on Tuesday, January 16. This decision is all about keeping everyone safe and sound.
We're also going to have a late start on Wednesday, January 17, with school beginning at 10 am. This way, we hope to ensure better road conditions and a safer journey for all. We get it – these changes might be a bit unexpected. Your understanding means the world to us. Your safety, and that of our students, staff, and community, is what matters most. As the temperature drops, please take a moment to stay warm and safe. Bundle up, watch your step on icy paths, and prioritize looking after yourself. All Basketball games tomorrow Tuesday, January 15 at Weimar are postponed till Wednesday at the same time.
Bloomington Elementary 2nd Graders enjoyed a gallery walk through the hallwyas to investigate story clues and find text evidence. They were very studious and professional in their research, writing and fact finding. Excellent job!!!

BMS and BHS students on the A or A/B honor roll or with perfect attendance for the second nine weeks enjoyed their Braggin' on Bobcats Bash today! Students could choose between popcorn & a movie, chips & board games, popsicles & p.e. or pickles and painting to enjoy!
