Bloomington Elementary staff and students enjoyed a fun and interactive presentation from Mid Coast Family Services about being kind to your mind. They received several messages about making good choices, and choosing to stay away from drugs and alcohol.

There is a lot going on this week - Red Ribbon Week, Literacy Night Monday, Volleyball Senior Night Tuesday & the Fall Festival Thursday! Whew!!! It's going to be busy, busy, busy!


Your Lady Cat Varsity Volleyball team plays their last game of the season Tuesday, October 24th at 5:00PM. Come out and recognize the seniors who have dedicated their time and effort to the Lady Cat program. Parents will also be recognized. We are proud of you Lady Cats! 🐾🏐


In celebration of National School Bus Safety Week, Bloomington Elementary students presented gifts of thanks and appreciation to our awesome bus drivers. We appreciate your time, dedication, smiles and attention to detail every day, in every way. Traveling to all school and athletics events is a breeze thanks yo all of you.

Bloomington Elementary 5th Graders enjoyed a fun filled learning experience on the Texas Floating Classroom. They were able to handle a variety of sea creatures and learned a lot about their habitats. Captain Whitney and Captian Bryan are always gracious and engaging hosts.

Bloomington Elementary 2nd Graders enjoyed a fantastic field trip to the J Welch Farms Corn Maze today. The weather weather was perfect and the activities were just what the students needed for a fun day.

This morning the National Honor Society students volunteered their time at the First United Methodist Church. They helped organize the pumpkin patch and even helped bake pumpkin bread!








This week's Student of the Week for Bloomington Elementary is Valentina Reyes! She was nominated by Mrs. Montes who says, "Valentina is very responsible, always eager to learn and a very hardworking student. She is always very positive in class and her positivity radiates to all around. " ⭐Congratulations Valentina!⭐


Thursday October 18th Junior High and High School Football will take individual and team pictures. Junior High will take their pictures during the athletic period, could possibly go until after school. High School pictures will be after school. Picture forms have been handed out to the student athletes. There are extra picture forms in the Boys Coaches office.

The Varsity Football Game scheduled for Saturday October 28th at Three Rivers has been moved to Friday October 27th. Game time is at 7:30 PM.
