We closed out our Read Across America week celebrations with a splash! 🎉 The winners of our homeroom book trivia celebrated, our "Perfect Patron" awards were given to 2 students who have up to date library accounts. We also had more book "shopping" in the library so students could get their new books from LIFT! Today our faculty did their second annual book exchange & are going to get to leave with a new book and recommendation from someone else! ❤️

Read Across America week kicked off last week at our secondary campuses with a Book giveaway thanks to the LIFT grant! All 6th and 7th grade students got to "speed date" different genres, and types of books before choosing one to keep! All students are encouraged to participate in our events this week that celebrate all things literacy and a love of READING! Our goal is that all students will get to leave this week with their novel thanks to the LIFT grant and take it over Spring Break! All Students: Update your library account & keep it current this week to be eligible for more book giveaways and prizes!! Be sure to participate in our book trivia during homeroom and help your class win! Faculty: enter the book exchange in your email and take home your next read selected by a another member of the faculty! Books must be dropped off to the library by Thursday with your note about why you liked it! :) Community members: Be sure to check our little free libraries around town for your next read to celebrate with us! Happy Reading Bobcats!
