Good afternoon Bloomington ISD Staff and Community,
We are aware of the hard freeze forecasted for this coming weekend and are actively monitoring weather conditions and their potential impact on our district. Please stay tuned to district communications, as we will continue to send updates and alerts as needed through our normal communication channels.
As temperatures drop, I encourage everyone to take precautions and keep the 4 P’s in mind:
People: Check on children, elderly family members, neighbors, and anyone who may need assistance.
Pipes: Take steps to protect exposed pipes from freezing.
Pets: Bring pets indoors or ensure they have adequate shelter and warmth.
Plants: Cover or bring in sensitive plants to prevent damage.
Your safety is our top priority. Thank you for your continued partnership and vigilance as we work together to keep our community safe.
Sincerely,
Eric Cormier
