This past Saturday our art students competed at the Visual Arts Scholastic Event at Victoria West High School. Our students had to create an original artwork and interview with a judge to receive a score. Out of the 204 artworks that were judged that day, 21 BHS artwork submissions scored the highest superior score of 4 and advanced them to Area, earning them a medal, that same day. After Area judging, 2 BHS artists were chosen to advance to State in San Marcos in April! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
