High School Football 2 a Day Practice Schedule

High School Football Equipment Pick-Up
The Bloomington High School coaching staff will issue football equipment to all high school football players on Tuesday, July 28, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Field House.
All players are expected to attend during this time to receive their equipment and ensure they are prepared for the upcoming season. If you are unable to attend, please contact Coach Shands as soon as possible to make alternate arrangements.

UIL Physical Information
DeTar is offering UIL Sports Physicals on Friday, July 31, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please see the attached flyer for additional details.
Students participating in Athletics, Marching Band, or Cheerleading who will be entering 7th, 9th, or 11th grade are required to have a current UIL physical on file.
High school athletes entering 9th or 11th grade who plan to participate in Football, Volleyball, or Cross Country must have their UIL physical completed before the first day of practice on August 3.
Unfortunately, we were unable to secure a physician to provide on-campus physicals at Bloomington High School this year. If you are having difficulty scheduling or obtaining a physical before the deadline, please contact Coach Shands as soon as possible so we can assist you.

BHS Students & Families: Ms. Harper will be holding Office Hours on Wednesday, July 22 & Thursday, July 23. If you have any questions about credits, graduation plans, or transcripts this is the time for you to get answers! Stop by BHS Wednesday or Thursday between the hours of 9:00am-3:00pm to see Ms. Harper! If you can't make it, please send an email.
4 more weeks Bobcats....pick up a book, or visit the library, and have some fun while knocking out some reading challenges to get a BINGO before the end of summer! Visit any district library when the school year starts with your completed BINGO for prizes and shout outs!!!

Students must be present for shoe fitting, and parents must bring identification and proof of eligibility, such as a SNAP/Medicaid award letter, a disability award letter, a Medicaid card with the student’s name, or two pay stubs showing proof of low income.

To Parents of PK, Kindergarteners and new students to Placedo ES: Please make sure your child is ready for their first day of school by bringing a current validated copy of their immunization records to the school office.

7on7 that was scheduled for today Monday at 6:00 pm has been cancelled. We will pick it back up next Monday 6/22.
BES SUMMER SCHOOL HOURS

Parents and Guardians, We would like to inform you of the transportation arrangements for students attending summer school. Bus transportation will be provided, and students will be picked up at their regular bus stop. Please ensure your student(s) is at the bus stop by 7:30 am each morning. Pickup times may be adjusted as needed. Transportation will also be provided to take students home at the end of each session.

If your student took an EOC Exam this spring--English 1, English 2, Algebra 1, Biology, or US History, their scores have been sent to their student email account.
Elementary and middle school scores will be delivered to students early next week.

Abigail Villarreal is graduating ranked #5 for the class of 2026! 🎉🎉Abigail plans on attending Texas A& M Kingsville and studying human nutrition so she can work, and help out in a WIC clinic! Her best high school memory is Senior Sunrise and coming together as a class to make memories! Abigail will miss her BHS keycard and is sad that now she has sign in as a guest when she visits her younger siblings and get buzzed in!! 😂

Coming in at #8: Sarah Carvajal! Sarah plans to attend college to become a nurse and then keep advancing. Her best high school memory is her first year doing cheer! She will miss spending time with the people she loves most!
