BES is proud to recognize Catalina Cabrera for her outstanding academic growth and leadership at Bloomington Elementary! Catalina’s dedication and hard work have truly paid off — she made remarkable progress on STAAR, moving from Approaches to Meets in both Reading and Math from 3rd to 4th grade.
Now as a 5th grader, Catalina continues to shine across all subjects, consistently demonstrating BES P.R.I.D.E. — Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence. She leads by example every day and inspires her classmates to always give their best.
Congratulations, Catalina! Your commitment to learning and leadership shines brightly at BES — we are so proud of you!

Principal Appreciation Month – Honoring Our Campus Leaders
October is Principal Appreciation Month, and I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible principals who serve the students, staff, and community of Bloomington ISD with dedication and heart every single day. Our principals are the backbone of our district. They are instructional leaders, motivators, problem-solvers, and mentors — often all within the same hour. Their commitment to ensuring every child has access to a high-quality education and a safe, supportive learning environment is what drives the success of our schools.
To our Bloomington ISD principals: thank you for your tireless leadership, your compassion for students, and your unwavering belief in the potential of every learner. Your work makes a lasting impact not only on your campuses but across our entire district community. Please join me in celebrating and showing appreciation for these outstanding leaders throughout the month of October.
