Dear Parents and Families: We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair. Hosted by our staff, this event is an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. As always, all purchases benefit our school. After missing out on many beloved traditions, our spring Book Fair will be a familiar, welcome, and safe event for our students. Here’s what you need to know about the Fair, which will take place from January 31st- February 4th at the Library. Our Book Fair offers eWallet, a safe and secure alternative to cash. Simply create a free account to add funds and/or invite family and friends to contribute so your child can select their own books. Any unused funds can be spent at The Scholastic Store Online or to fund a future eWallet. Parents and community members will be able to shop our book fair in person Monday, Jan. 31, 2022 during LIFT Grant’s Power of Words Around the Campfire! If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school. Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping: https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bookfairs/cptoolkit/homepage.do?method=homepage&url=bloomingtonmiddleschool We’re excited to celebrate our love of books together at the Book Fair. We look forward to seeing your child there! Happy reading, Misty Mitchell Principal Bloomington Secondary Schools
Feliz lectura, Misty Mitchell Principal Bloomington Secondary Schools
Congratulations to our January Bobcat Boss Teacher, Ms. Bollman! Middle School & High School students had this to say about Mrs. Bollman. She's respectful, nice, & sweet to her students. She cool! She's so positive and makes the bad days so much better. She does a lot of good work around the school. She also is an outstanding art teacher. I learned a lot from her. I think she deserves to win she is absolutely wonderful. She is a very nice outgoing teacher she makes learning fun! She’s a teacher who cares and really helps me no matter what. She is the best teacher in my opinion! We learn a lot in her class. She always makes sure we understand what we are doing and helps us whenever we need it. I chose Ms.Bollman because she is very fun and nice. She's awesome! She is nice and will work hard to make anyone pass and tell them to keep going. She is a really nice teacher and she encourages everyone to try their best and never give up. She is understanding and is always ready to talk if something is wrong She is nice and patient. She always makes my day better. She is a very nice outgoing teacher. She makes learning fun #CoolTeacher Cuz she cool! Way to go Ms. Bollman. We appreciate you!
