At Monday night’s Board of Trustees meeting, Bloomington ISD proudly recognized one outstanding student from each campus as our Student of the Month for academic excellence. These students were selected for their strong work ethic, positive character, and commitment to learning. They represent the very best of Bloomington ISD, and we are proud to celebrate their achievements alongside their families and teachers. A Night of Pirates, Planets, and Prehistoric Fun

PES invites families to attend our upcoming Family Literacy Night.

Date: January 26
Time: 5:00–7:00 PM
Location: PES Café

Families will enjoy an engaging evening that includes dino-rrific stories, pirate adventures, out-of-this-world books, hands-on literacy activities, door prizes, and a pancake dinner.

This event is designed to celebrate reading and encourage family involvement in literacy in a fun and meaningful way. We hope you and your family will join us for a great night at PES.

The Monday, Jan 19th 2026 Junior High Ladycat Basketball contest at Bloomington Dome has been rescheduled for Thursday Jan 22, 2026 At the Bloomington Dome.

7th Grade Girls will play Schulenburg @430pm
8th Grade Girls will play Schulenburg @530pm

Due to a shortage of officials for the junior high boys games, all junior high boys games originally scheduled for Thursday, 1/8 will be moved to Weimar.

As a result, both junior high girls and boys will play at Weimar on Thursday, 1/8. Games will be played as scheduled in two separate gyms.

Elementary Gym
• 7th Grade Boys – 5:30 PM
• 7th Grade Girls – 6:30 PM

High School Gym
• 8th Grade Girls – 5:30 PM
• 8th Grade Boys – 6:30 PM

Attention softball parents! There will be a Softball Parent Meeting for all players and families. This meeting is important as we will cover the upcoming season, expectations, schedules, and more.
