Bloomington Athletics will be offering FREE physicals.

Parents of BMS & BHS Students, We will not receive student's STAAR results with any certainty of passing or failing until May 31st. We plan to call parents on June 2nd to notify them if students need to attend summer school to retake the STAAR test at the end of June. Summer school will be June 5th - 29th and Monday - Thursday from 8 am - 12 pm.

These outstanding BES 3rd Graders successful met their AR goal every week of the entire school year. They were rewarded with a surprise visit from the Green Cow Creamery. They lactively participated in the process of making their own ice cream. #AdventureAwaits.

Bloomington Elementary staff and students enjoyed a fantastic water day at the Port Lavaca YMCA. It was a great day, the weather was beautiful, and we were happy to have so many parents with us for the day. Thank you everyone for your encouragement and support. #AdventureAwaits.

The Victoria County Health Department has been spraying and monitoring the mosquito problem in Bloomington and the surrounding areas. They informed administration that there is currently a mosquito infestation and standing water is preventing them from controlling the number of mosquitos. This information prompted the change in location for this year's graduation which will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 at 7:00 pm in the Mabel E. Wyatt Auditorium on the high school campus.

Here are more pictures from the HS and 2nd grade collaborative art project. The 2nd grade students drew pictures of monsters and then the HS students turned those pictures into stuffed animals using hand sewing and sewing machines! Way to go Artists!!!

Bloomington Elementary 2nd Graders were amazed to see their monster drawings brought to life by our wonderful High School Art students. It was a fun event for all the kids. Thank you Mrs. Smith for coordinating the entire project. #adventureawaits

Summer Athletic Training Camp

BMS & BHS campuses were placed on a brief lockdown at approximately 10:15 am due to an unidentified person on campus. Our SRO and law enforcement immediately responded to ensure the safety of all students and staff. Everyone is safe and secure at this time. The Bloomington Elementary Athletics Club hosted a Football Extravaganza this evening. It was great to see so many happy kids and supportive parents. Thanks for the support from the BHS Athletes as well. #adventureawaits
