The Victoria County Health Department has been spraying and monitoring the mosquito problem in Bloomington and the surrounding areas. They informed administration that there is currently a mosquito infestation and standing water is preventing them from controlling the number of mosquitos. This information prompted the change in location for this year's graduation which will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 at 7:00 pm in the Mabel E. Wyatt Auditorium on the high school campus.
Here are more pictures from the HS and 2nd grade collaborative art project. The 2nd grade students drew pictures of monsters and then the HS students turned those pictures into stuffed animals using hand sewing and sewing machines! Way to go Artists!!!
Bloomington Elementary 2nd Graders were amazed to see their monster drawings brought to life by our wonderful High School Art students. It was a fun event for all the kids. Thank you Mrs. Smith for coordinating the entire project.

Summer Athletic Training Camp
BMS & BHS campuses were placed on a brief lockdown at approximately 10:15 am due to an unidentified person on campus. Our SRO and law enforcement immediately responded to ensure the safety of all students and staff. Everyone is safe and secure at this time. Students have been given permission to text their families to let them know they are ok.
